Team
Reset architecture is a design atelier.
The practice has developed a reputation for working on a diverse range of urban planning, architecture and interior projects. We are broadly oriented and share design experience on various scales and building functions. This allows us to respond adequately to diverse and complex design tasks; from the urban fabric to the architectural detail.
Theo Mathijssen founded Reset architecture in 2009. Reset due to an intrinsic fascination with context-sensitive architecture, restructuring and reuse design tasks. For this he worked at architecture firms BiermanHenket, One architecture, LodeHavermans and CrepainBinstAntwerpen where he designed private homes, collective housing, public buildings and urban planning projects.
Theo teaches at the ArtEZ Art Academy Arnhem and has taught at the Eindhoven University of Technology where he also studied. He is involved in various cultural and public organisations to reflect and share ideas about our profession. Theo is member of the Spatial Quality committee of the municipality of Tilburg and Roosendaal.
